Vilakku Puja 2017

We have been celebrating Thiruvulakku Pooja every year to have the blessings of Goddess Eshwari. This year also we have celebrated Vilakku Pooja on 03.02.2017, Friday in a grand and gracious manner. Dr.Sharmila Presided over the Pooja Celebration and offered a brass villakku to all the students of 12th std.

Swami Shashishikhananda Maharaj, the Secretary of the Vivekananda Centenary Girls’ Hr. Sec School, Asst. Sec. Smt. Bragadha, Special Guest Swami Gunasagaranandaji Maharaj, Mrs. Devika Magendiran, Dr. Sharmila, Headmistress of Sri Ramakrishna Math National School, Our Headmistress, Asst. Headmistress and all the staff took part in the Pooja. Our school Sarada Bhajana Mandali performed Bhajans and Pooja was done by all the 12th std. Students before well adorned Eshwari idol followed by other rituals of the Pooja. Chief guests, our Secretary Maharaj, and our Headmistress wished all the students and gave the confidence to face the forthcoming board exam. Our School Management Sri Ramakrishna Math Provided Lunch Prasadam to everyone in the school on the occasion.

 

Republic Day 2017

On 26.01.2017 Thursday 68th Republic day was celebrated in our school at 8.30 a.m. Swami Apavarganandaji Maharaj, Editor, Ramakrishna Vijayam, Ramakrishna Math-Mylapore, hoisted the National Flag. Selvi. S Parveen Fathima of XI-C welcomed the gathering. Group Songs were sung by School students. Our Headmistress gave a special speech on the importance of moral values to the students. Swami Apavarganandaji Maharaj gave a motivational speech about the values of education and respect to elders. Selvi. S. Vishali of XI – C gave Vote of Thanks. The function came to end with the singing of National Anthem and sweets were distributed to all the children.

National Youth Day 2017

National Youth day was celebrated on 12.01.2017, Thursday in our school premises. Our secretary Maharaj and our Headmistress were present for the program. The program started with a prayer by the school choir. Our school children gave a speech on Life and sayings of Swami Vivekananda. Our Headmistress and our Secretary Maharaj gave a motivational talk to the children. Our Secretary Maharaj gave away the prizes to the winners of Youth Day Competitions. The program came to an end with National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to all the children.

Children’s Day Celebration 2016

On Friday, 14th November 2016 at 10.00 am children’s day was celebrated in our school in a grand manner. H. Famitha, our school pupil leader presided over the function. The function started with prayer by school choir. Our school secretary Swami Srividyanandaji Maharaj, Swami Shashishikhanandaji maharaj greeted all the children and gave a motivational speech to the students.

H. Famitha gave an inspiring speech to the students. Our school students delivered a speech about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Group songs were sung by the students. The vote of thanks was rendered and the programme ended with the singing of national anthem. Books, pen and sweets were distributed by our secretary to all the staff and the children. School Managing Committee Members Kumari Urmila Vyas and Smt. Brigada were also present on the occasion.

Teachers’ Day Celebration 2016

Teachers day was celebrated on 06.09.2016 Tuesday in our school premises at 02.30 p.m. Swami Harirupanandaji Maharaj, Swami Srividyananda, Secretary and Sri P. Venugopal, Board Member attended the function.

The function started with prayer Selvi. H. Famitha 11 C welcomed the gatherings. Selvi. S. Saiharini 9 A gave a speech on student’s responsibilities. Students also performed Cultural Programmes

Swami Srividyananda blessed the teachers and students. Selvi. J. Nandhini 9 A gave the vote of thanks. The function came to the end with the singing of National Anthem.
